Dupont Underground

Washington, DC

An enormous, abandoned streetcar station lies beneath Dupont Circle, and a local arts group has transformed it into a cool underground gallery of art, architecture and design. Exhibitions 鈥 maybe a sound installation or a graffiti collection 鈥 rise alongside the old tram tracks. The shows change regularly. The gallery is only open for specific events, so check the schedule online for times.
