Kuang Si Butterfly Park, 300m before the Kuang Si waterfall, was opened in 2014 as a breeding sanctuary for Laos' myriad butterflies. It's open to travellers, so you can wander the beautiful gardens on a tour, as well as having your feet nibbled by miniature fish at the foot spa. Great fun for kids. There's also a cafe here with special entry and cake combination tickets available.
