I'm a Berlin-based writer and photographer and long-time ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ contributor. Since taking on my first job for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ aged 24, I've written guides to Russia and many parts of the former Soviet Union, China, Mexico, Colombia, Albania and Maldives, to name just a few.
I've also honed my reputation as the company's unofficial totalitarianism correspondent, writing guides (often covertly) to North Korea, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, DRC, Niger and Uzbekistan.
